Jo joined NES in 2009, initially overseeing the day-to-day running of locum shifts, before accepting the role of Recruitment Consultant later that year. Over the next 5 years Jo was hugely successful and recruited hundreds of doctors to come to work with NES.
In 2015 she took on the role of Recruitment Director, a role that had led to her travelling the world, introducing NES to large numbers of doctors. In recent times she has been everywhere from Manchester to Manila – luckily she loves travelling.
Rachael joined NES in 2004 and worked initially within the recruitment team. Seeking a new challenge, Rachael moved into Operations the following year and has not looked back since. Starting as an Assistant, she rapidly became a Medical Staffing Manager and has developed her role to include managing the team. This was formally recognised when she was appointed as the company’s Operations Manager.
Rachael enjoys the hectic pace of the day-to-day NES operation and loves nothing more than when a well-executed plan comes together.
Prior to joining NES Rachael graduated from the University of Sussex with a BSc in Geography. This fuelled a lifelong passion for travelling the world, meaning she is always looking out for her next adventure.

Together with Rachael, Andrea is responsible for the day-to-day delivery of the service to the client hospitals. She manages the team of Medical Staffing Managers and has a significant input into the systems and processes that ensure our service is efficient and reliable. Dr Anneke Blaauw graduated with an MBChB from the University of Orange Free State, South Africa in 2000. During her Internship and Community Service she gained significant experience in rural medicine whilst working in Kwa-Zulu Natal. She then came to the UK in 2003 to begin working with NES. Anneke has proven herself to be an excellent RMO and is hugely valued by the staff and management at her longstanding hospital placement.
Anneke became part of the NES training team in 2010 and has achieved both American Heart Association (AHA) and UK Resuscitation Council (UKRC) Instructor status. She has also become a Medical and Course Director for the UKRC. In addition to this Anneke has used her extensive experience as an NES doctor to instruct on NES’ RMO Practical Assessments and Aseptic Non-Touch (ANTT) courses.
Anneke’s greatest achievement has been in the development of NES’ Appraisal system. Since becoming an Appraiser in 2012 she has achieved the status of Appraisal Lead, which is a vital function enabling her to support the team of Appraisers and establish clear and effective processes for her clinical colleagues. It is through Anneke’s work that we are able to offer NES doctors a thorough Appraisal process and a clear path to Revalidation for our doctors.
Before joining NES in March 2018, Nick worked extensively as an anaesthetic practitioner and resuscitation officer in both the UK and abroad. He is passionate about his clinical work and his teaching and aims to offer high quality patient care whilst also ensuring our doctors provide the same to both our patients and hospitals.

Tamsyn joined NES Healthcare in 2004 and has worked variously as an Assistant Medical Staffing Manager, Medical Staffing Manager and, since 2009, as Administration Manager. During this time she has acquired a wealth of experience of the industry and the importance of effective systems and processes.
Tamsyn describes her approach as methodical, thorough and strict. These are attributes that are ideal when it comes to the critical area of administration and compliance in an industry where everything has to be 100% accurate. Tamsyn is responsible for developing and improving the majority of the processes that help to get a doctor to the point where they can start work in one of our hospitals. She also manages and mentors the more junior members of the administration team.
Carly joined NES Healthcare in April 2007, initially to assist with doctor recruitment before moving into our Administration Team. She then became a Medical Staffing Manger (MSM) in 2012, a role she performed with great distinction to the point where she was designated as one of our Senior MSMs. This required Carly to provide motivation and mentoring for the less experienced members of the team as well and troubleshooting, process development and project management.
Carly took the role of the Senior MSM to a whole new level and was promoted into the management team in the role of Deputy Operations Manager. In this role, Carly has the opportunity to use her extensive experience and expertise to input into day-to day operations, company strategy and management decisions.
