ALS Recertification

ALS recertification courses can only be taken by healthcare professionals who hold a valid Resuscitation Council UK ALS provider certificate, or whose certificate has expired within twelve months of their certificate expiry date. If you are more than a year past the expiry date you will need to complete a new eALS/ ALS course.
During the course, you will develop the knowledge and skills required to:
- Recognise and manage the deteriorating patient using a structured ABCDE approach;
- Deliver standardised CPR in adults;
- Manage a cardiac arrest by working with a multidisciplinary team in an emergency situation;
- Become an effective and confident team member and leader by utilising non-technical skills.
Certificates are valid for 4 years.
